We love our kids to THE MAX at St Stephen
At St. Stephen's, our children, from 3 years old to 4th grade, enjoy safe, age-appropriate settings where they learn about Jesus and encounter the mystery, awe, and wonder of God through creative methods. We would be delighted to have you and your family visit us on a Sunday morning.
Your first visit
Upon their first visit to St Stephen's, children can anticipate the following experiences:
- A playful and engaging environment
- A compassionate and attentive leader
- Worship tailored to their age, filled with mystery, awe, and wonder
- A Godly Play narrative that fosters spiritual dialogue
- A delightful snack
- An opportunity to forge new friendships
It all starts when you find the Kid's Check-in area upon arrival.
For the initial check-in, we'll need the following personal details (we respect your privacy and will not share this information):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Email address
- Cell number
- Any specific instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child
Rest assured, a team member will welcome your family and register your child in our system. Afterwards, you're invited to visit the café. Children can delight in hot chocolate and cookies, while parents can relish coffee and cookies, and socialize before the worship begins.
Children are invited to participate in THE MAX, our children's ministry, during the service, just before the sermon starts. A children's ministry partner will escort your child to their designated worship space. There, kids can release some energy and settle down, then they will listen to a story from the sacred scriptures and reflect on it through sacred listening.
How check-in works

- Your child wears the name tag portion, while you keep the matching tag.
After Service:
- Collect your child from THE MAX Worship & Wonder room.
- Show your tag to a ministry partner for your child’s release.
During Service:
- If we need to contact you, expect a text message from a ministry partner.
