At The Table

There’s always room at our table for anyone interested. We value an open discussion of Biblical texts and perspectives. We are a very candid group, and we seek each other’s counsel and perspective on whatever is going on in our lives. We always end our time with prayers for individuals and family situations.

Spiritual Conversations: Theodicy

A 6-Week Spiritual Conversation Course exploring the question: “Why do bad things happen to good people?” through Scripture and Wesleyan theology.

This six-week journey explores the Christian understanding of suffering, evil, and God’s goodness. Drawing from Scripture, John Wesley, and Methodist theology, participants will engage in spiritual conversations and practices that move beyond explanation to faithful presence. The goal is not to solve the problem of suffering but to learn to encounter God in the middle of it.
